These pictures come from the French Riviera - one shows how to get your baggage up to your hotel at the top of the village, the other photo is of a view from the top down to the coast below!
Slow Tours does not generally use these beautiful hotels or hostelleries which require a donkey for transport, as it is really difficult to carry baggage up the narrow winding streets, then up the staircases, where mostly there are no lifts. We do find some delightful places to stay though, and mostly a bit more practical. Our tours in the south of France will always include a visit to these gorgeous villages.
