In the heart of Burgundy

A week in the heart of Burgundy at this time of year (autumn) is really beautiful. The vines are stunning as they change colour surrounded by the reds, ambers and yellow leaves of the changing colours of forests. We visited a couple of chateaux, each privately owned and making their own delicious wines. A quiet lunch under a parasol by the Burgundy canal was a special treat. The weather has been warm and sunny - I think we've had the summer which should have happened in July and August!
