Haute Provence

September 9th and we are coming to the end of the week in Haute Provence! This afternoon is our cooking school, so we are looking forward to a great dinner this evening. The beautiful perched villages here are unspoilt and the scenery in this National Park is stunning. We've been eating well, drinking well and doing enough exercise to keep fit. The weather has been great during the day, with rain falling one night and an enormous storm the following night which woke us with thunderclaps in the early hours. The photo shows a group of white water rafters enjoying the clear waters of the Verdon - not us this time, but available for anyone who likes an adrenaline rush!
